VW Jetta TDI: Clean diesel engine unveiled at LA Motor Show

VW has unveiled a clean diesel engine for the VW Jetta at the LA Motor Show.
Volkswagen rolled with the low-emissions juggernaut at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show, unveiling a new "cleanest diesel ever" that will be an option on its 2009 Jetta sedan and SportWagen. VW said the engine will give 30 percent better "real-world fuel economy" compared with the same model equipped with a gasoline engine.
