VW: To produce 100.000 cars more in 2008

VW
VW is looking forward to produce 100.000 cars more in 2008.
Volkswagen AG will be expanding the output at its main manufacturing facility in Wolfsburg by producing an extra 100,000 cars next year compared to this year, Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reported yesterday, citing company sources.

It said the production figures were amongst those approved by the supervisory board last Friday.

The report said part of VW's plan is to increase the production of Golf Plus by 30,000 units to 434,000.
