Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Targa: Test drive review

Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Targa
Here's a nice, short test drive report about the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Targa.
I took this car on a 1000 mile road trip to Northern California. Passed the James Dean memorial along the way, where he was killed in a Porsche Spyder more than five decades ago. This was an unusually equipped car, being all-wheel drive, an S, a Targa, with a 6M trans. While it’s not as light, playful, or fast as a strippo Carrera or C2S, it’s an awesome grand tourer, eating miles like crazy. Sliding glass Targa roof is a marvel, as it opens big to let the sunshine in, yet still allows a rear opening hatch. No squeaks, rattles, or leaks that I could detect.
