Volkswagen: Not entering budget car market

Volkswagen's Head Dr. Winterkorn gave a clear no to entering the budget car market.
On the sidelines of the Detroit auto show, Winterkorn said it would be a 'big mistake' for Volkswagen to water down its brands.

In terms of quality, security and CO2-emissions, the company has 'certain standards', Winterkorn added.
