VW: Applied for Thailand's eco-car program

VW
VW has officially confirmed to participate at Thailand's eco-car program, and this is just a few days after we got the news that they are looking to build another production facility...in Thailand maybe.
VW confirmed Friday they joined after reports they submitted an application to the program in November. "We want to strengthen in South-East Asia," said the head of VW's office in Germany.

All that from a program for the production of cars that must get more than 57 MPG and emit less than 192 grams of CO2 per mile.
