VW: Building a factory in Thailand?

VW
As a result of the failed talks between Volkswagen and Proton to share production facilities, VW is now looking somewhere else: Thailand.
According to our source VW is looking to build 100.000 copies of a small car (VW up! ?) in Samut Prakan and is said to invest 614 million Euro for building a plant. The decision is expected in first half of 2008 as they are also looking elsewhere.
