VW Routan: New US-exclusive minivan to be introduced at Chicago Motor Show

VW Routan
Finally the baby has a name: the new US-exclusive minivan which is produced in collaboration with Chrysler will be called VW Routan and see the light at the Chicago Motor Show.
With the debut of the Passat CC at Detroit,
VW has announced that its next stop will be Chicago
for the debut of the Routan van. This van has been developed with the
collaboration of Chrysler LLC. The name aims at displaying the American and
German connections of this van. ‘Route’ is an English word and the suffix -an
comes from the European vans, Touran and Sharan.
