Porsche Gemballa GTR 700: Taking a bit of Carrera GT and Cayenne

Gemballa GTR 700
Gemballa has released the Gemballa GTR 700, a powerful mixture of a Porsche Carrera GT and a Porsche Cayenne. Have a look! We are a bit sceptical about the result.
Notable cues lifted from the Stuttgart-built supercar include the five-spoke alloy wheels, the large grille openings up front, and that carbon fiber hood dome up front, but the look isn’t pretty. Especially since Gemballa also felt inclined to throw in a host of other styling cues that don’t seem to fit anywhere on the SUV. Why they felt inclined to fit taillamps from a 1985 Ferrari 412 is beyond us, although the split spoiler and brake light at roof level is also a mystery. The interior’s not much better; again, Gemballa attempts to channel the Carrera GT by building a new center console sweep and mounting all of the contents of the stock stack within.

We hear the GTR 700 Tornado manages to squeeze close to 700 horsepower out of the twin-turbo 4.8-liter V-8, but although we prefer go over show, we’re not sure we can get over the exterior.
