VW Golf R32: Wolf in rabbit clothing

VW Golf R32
Here's a nice review of the VW Golf R32.
This car has that sort of crazy, over-the-top performance that causes you to shake your head in disbelief. You have to wonder, is it legal to produce a car that's this much fun to drive?

The R32 is basically a two-door Rabbit, with the heart and soul of an Audi TT roadster under its snout.

Twist the key, and the 3.2-liter six-cylinder barks with sinful relish, inviting you to risk your driver's license in the name of fun.
The R32's all-wheel-drive system transfers up to 75 percent of the engine's power to the rear wheels, making the R32 an ideal foul-weather transporter. It also enhances the car's performance.

Married to a Direct Shift Gearbox (more on this later) and VW's 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, the R32 scoots to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

Accelerating in an R32 is not unlike being shot out of a cannon.
