VW Passat Variant 2.0 TDI: Review

VW Passat Variant 2.0 TDI
Here's a nice review of the VW Passat Variant 2.0 TDI, a very popular choice.
The Passat's interior is, thankfully, not as dark as some European prestige vehicles. The primary relief is provided by a faux metal panel that crosses the dashboard and descends the centre stack.

Chrome rings for the instrument panel dials and a shiny gear-shifter bezel also lift the ambience. Material quality is high and soft to the touch.

There is no shortage of storage options up front, including big door pockets and clever dual cup holders with nifty spring-loaded retainers.
