Our spies couldn’t believe their eyes – or ears – when they saw the Cayenne 4x4 at a black pump while cold weather testing in Sweden.

The snappers said there was no mistaking the oil-burning clatter of the engine – which is likely to be the platform-sharing VW Touareg’s 3.0-litre V6 TDI.
