VW Scirocco GT24: Promotional trailer released



VW has released a promotional trailer for the race-ready VW Scirocco GT24 which successfully participated at the 24h race on the Nurburgring last weekend.

The three Scirocco GT24s that Volkswagen entered retained essential links to the road-going car, right down to the 2.0-liter TSFI engine (modified for 325 horsepower in race form), six-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, and front-wheel drive found in the upcoming production car. The Sciroccos qualified first, second, and fourth prior to the race and had only three unscheduled pit stops for the duration of the 24 hour endurance race.
