Bugatti Veyron: Million dollar baby

One has to wonder how large the market is for an automobile that starts at $1.6 million. According to the folks who make the impossibly exotic Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron, some 132 people have stepped up over the last three years to put one of these French-built cars in their garage--including six chaps who bought one the first day they went on sale in Dubai.
The Veyron has ten radiators, 16 cylinders and four banks of camshafts operating 64 valves that generate 1,001 hp and a top speed of 253 mph. The driving sensation has been described as "...a Formula 1 car for the street" --except that the Veyron has a faster top end.
