VW Scirocco: New photos and prices announced

VW has released new photos and announced prices for the VW Scirocco. Have a look at that interesting solution for the iPod integration.

Along with a bunch of new images, Volkswagen announced the pricing for the 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco that will go on sale in Europe by mid-November. Prices in the UK will start £20,500 ($40,258 USD) for the entry level 1.4L TSI producing 122-hp. Fuel-economy for the entry level model comes in at 39mpg.

The other two TSI versions will produce 160-hp and 200-hp respectively. A turbo-diesel TDI versions will also be available producing a total of 140-hp and averaging a fuel-economy of 44mpg. All are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 7-speed DSG transmission.
