Audi, VW: New midship-engine sportscar in the works!

We have already reported about VW's plans to build a midship-engine sportscar and it will be shown at the LA Motor Show in November. But clearly the breaking news here is that Audi is looking to join the development to build the next-generation TT as a midship-engine sportscar. Awesome news, but Porsche might not be too happy about it! We also have first artist's renderings for you. Both brands are working on a Coupe and a Roadster/Targa version.
