VW: Olympic fleet launched

VW Olympic Fleet
VW has launched its Olympic fleet of over 5000 (!) cars. Awesome!
As the exclusive Automobile Partner of the 2008 Olympic Games, Volkswagen Group China, together with its joint ventures Shanghai Volkswagen and FAW Volkswagen, officially handed over 5,000 vehicles to the Beijing Organizing Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG). The vehicles provide logistic support for the organizers, athletes, media and Olympic guests. Volkswagen technicians and service crews will supply round-the-clock support for the fleet, which comprises low-consumption, low-emission vehicles and has been christened the “Green Fleet”. The Magotan 2.0 TDI, Sagitar 1.4 TSI, Touran EcoFuel, Tiguan 2.0 TDI and Magotan BlueMotion models that make up the fleet were recently presented to the Main Press Center of the Beijing Olympic Games.
