Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport: First copy auctioned for $2.9 million

The very first copy of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport has been auctioned off for just $2.9 million. A bargain in our opinion if you consider the almost assured value increase in future. Watch the auction in the video below!
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport debuted at the Pebble Beach Concours last weekend, and chassis number one was promptly auctioned off the following day by Gooding & Company for the obnoxious sum of $2.9 million. "Standard" pricing for the ultra-exclusive convertible is set at €1.4 million, or about $2 million, so a paltry $900,000 for the privilege of owning the first one is totally worth it.
