Porsche Cayman RS: Spy shots

Looks like Porsche is working on a Porsche Cayman RS. Have a look at these spy shots!

This new variant is also expected to be called an RS and in these latest shots we can clearly see the car’s new carbon-ceramic brake package. However, missing is an expected GT rear wing and rear diffuser.

The new Cayman RS is expected to be introduced as a special run-out edition before the launch of the next-generation model due in 2011. It will be based on the facelifted Cayman lineup, which should first start appearing early next year.

The engine in the RS will likely be an uprated version of the standard Cayman S’ 3.4L flat-six, however with Porsche already adding its VarioCam Plus valve technology last year.
