The S4, however, is no slouch. Its supercharged, direct-injected 3.0L V6 engine generates an impressive 333hp (245kW), about 10% more than the claimed power of BMW’s twin-turbo inline-six unit found in the 335i, and pushes the car from 0-62mph (100km/h) in just 5.1 seconds.
All of this performance can be had for a starting price of €50,950 ($67,100) for the S4 sedan, with the Avant starting at €52,600 ($69,300), according to Automobilwoche. While U.S. pricing hasn’t yet been released, the current S4 Cabrio is priced at $57,125, so the new cars should start around the $60,000 mark. Along with the price figures, Audi revealed the fuel consumption as well. The S4 sedan is good for 24.25mpg (9.7L/100km) while the Avant gets 23.75mpg (9.9L/100km).
