Audi A4 Avant: Say goodbye to boring

Audi A4 Avant
Very nice review here of the Audi A4 Avant from South Africa.
I want to throw caution and responsibility to the wind and drive something that stirs the emotions and I certainly wasn’t anticipating any surges of passion from an Audi Avant but when the new two-litre turbodiesel A4 Avant pulled up at my gate all thought of boring, bland and sensible station-wagon evaporated in a heartbeat.

The Avant is so far removed from the "estates" of my youth. It’s stylish, has a sleek and sexy silhouette, features all of the accoutrements you’d expect from the lads in Germany and, let’s face it, girls, the status of driving a vehicle with this multiringed logo is immeasurable...

Clean, uncluttered and driver-friendly gauges and fascia, beautiful cabin finishes, one of those dinky one-finger handbrakes, fantastic road-holding and, sure, you can pile in prams, kids and schoolbags/luggage without any stress.
