Porsche Cayenne: Diesel possible for US, Hybrid coming in 2010

Porsche Cayenne
Good news here for friends of the Porsche Cayenne which might come with a diesel option for the US and a hybrid in 2010.
The Porsche Cayenne Diesel is powered by a 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel engine from Audi that produces 240-hp with a maximum torque of 406 lb-ft. Fuel-economy is estimated at 25 mpg with CO2 at 244 grams per km.

So will it come to the U.S.? The Volkswagen Group will bring the Touareg diesel and Audi Q7 diesel to all 50 states in the U.S., so it’s very likely that Porsche will bring the Cayenne diesel to the U.S. as well. A hybrid version of the Cayenne is expected in 2010.
