VW Scirocco: Scirocco Cup race car revealed in China

VW Scirocco Cup
The VW Scirocco Cup race car has been revealed in China.
Painted in a brilliant pearlescent blue, dubbed Motorsport Blue, and inscribed with the Chinese characters for "Volkswagen Cars China", the racer looks the part of a modest-budget racer. The roof-mounted rear spoiler and aggressive lower-body aero kit look nice, but also intimate functionality. Gunmetal grey wheels finish off the race car look.

The precise technical details of the car haven't yet been revealed, but the car is expected to feature the same 200hp (149kW) 2.0L TSI engine found in the standard car, plus a six-speed variant of VW's dual-clutch DSG gearbox.
