Bentley: Announcing biofuel models at Geneva Motor Show

Bentley is going green and will announce biofuel models at the Geneva Motor Show.

At the Detroit Auto Show, right after introducing the extra-thirsty Continental GTC Speed, Stuart McCullough, a Bentley board member, announced that the company would make a “significant investment” to get its fleet to operate on biofuel. “Our commitment to this strategy is such that we plan to accelerate the introduction of our first biofuel-compatible car, which will make its world premiere in Geneva this March,” McCullough said.

This doesn’t necessarily mean diesels for the luxury brand. The fuel most mentioned during this announcement was bioethanol to be used in gas powered flex-fuel vehicles.
