Audi RS6 Avant: For families in a hurry
Nice review here of the Audi RS6 Avant from Australia.
From a standstill the weight blunts initial response, even if acceleration is brutal on the move, especially anywhere between 40km/h and 100km/h. Speed piles on effortlessly. The intoxicating deep burble during full-throttle gear changes adds acoustic fervour.
In Australia, though, the fun winds up quickly and you'll only need two of the six gears. The speedo needle nudges 100km/h in about 4.6 seconds.
