Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI quattro: Driving report

Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI quattro
Interesting driving report here with the Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI quattro from Australia.
It's better looking to these eyes than Audi's Q7 and Allroad. Inside, relatively thin windscreen pillars allow a commanding view of surroundings. The dash, a gadget freak's delight, has buttons for everything.

Driver's seat ergonomics are excellent. Rear seats are narrow and thinly padded but firm, comfortable for two adults, with a deep footwell. Two adults fit comfortably in the rear. Rear cargo space is generous at 540 litres, with 60-40 split-fold rear seat backs. (Our car also had a $1065 electric tailgate.)

The turbo engine provides a blast of acceleration and fuel use is about what I'd expect, 11.8 litres per 100km in mainly city driving, 8.4L/100km highway. Steering is sharp, brakes are strong and all-wheel-drive adds peace of mind.
