VW: New US diesel promotion launched, called Truth & Dare

VW of America has launched the first consumer blog forum for their diesel technology called "TDI: Truth & Dare". Make sure to watch and visit! Looks a bit like Mythbusters...

The new social site is separated into two parts. The first is labeled "Truth" and is a place where Volkswagen will spread information on its modern TDI engines and the car's they are installed in. The other section is called – you guessed it – "Dare," a place where VW will announce contests and challenges for drivers of TDI-equipped vehicles.

The first video posting on the new site attempts to show the difference between old diesel engines and modern "clean diesels" like the current Jetta TDI using a coffee filter.
