VW up!: Electric model to be shown at Frankfurt Motor Show

VW up!
According to this source VW will unveil the electric VW up! during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Following in the footsteps of eco concepts like the Golf Twin Drive diesel hybrid (pictured) and up! city car, it will be solely electric, and could rival Vauxhall’s Ampera. According to insiders, development of the electric drivetrain is at an advanced stage, and bosses are looking to use their home show to highlight the technology.
