VW Golf R20: New spy shots!

We found new spy shots of the VW Golf R20. Have a look before it will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show!

This car, fitted with a modified version of the last Golf GTI’s EA113 2.0-litre with direct injection, will have over 260bhp and replaces the six-cylinder R32.

Unlike the front-drive Scirocco R, the range-topping Golf will have four-wheel drive. It should crack 60mph in less than six seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.

Previous spy shots have revealed none of the aggressive styling features of the new R20, but these pics clearly show the extended side sills and gaping intakes in the front bumper.
