Audi S8, Audi A8 W12: No 2010 models available

The Audi S8 and Audi A8 W12 will not be available as 2010 models.

The car will soldier for the near future in the USA but the higher-performance (and thirstier) S8 and A8 W12 models have quietly disappeared from production for the 2010 model year ahead of the new car's introduction. If you're looking for a new D3 S8 or W12, you might want to pick one up now because, as they say, when they're gone they're gone.

The A8 4.2 and A8L 4.2 will remain for 2010, including a new 100th Anniversary package. We've had a chance to test one such car in Germany and will be filing a report shortly.
