VW: Aiming to double sales in US

VW has some big plans for the US: double sales in 2-4 years!
“We will sell 400,000 to 450,000 vehicles in 2012-2013,” Jacoby said at an event ahead of the Detroit Auto Show.

Jacoby said there is a strong possibility for Volkswagen’s U.S. business to become profitable in three years.

“We are a little bit more optimistic now than we were a few months ago,” he said.
