The Audi A6 Hybrid will join the Audi A8 Hybrid and Audi Q5 Hybrid by 2012.
The plug-in and electric offerings planned by Audi will not be of the prototypical environmentally-friendly eye-sore type; the hybrid A8 sedan introduced at Geneva is to be joined by a hybrid A6 sedan by the end of 2012. Audi also announced a soon-to-be-launched Q5 hybrid crossover at Geneva, and some anticipate hybrid technology to expand to all parts of the Audi family by the end of the decade.
