Set for a debut in 2011, the newcomer will get a fresh body that loses the F1-style nose for a front-grille and headlight arrangement that echoes the new SLS AMG supercar. A folding metal hardtop will be standard.
There are changes under the skin too, as engineers strive to cut around 100kg from the SLK’s kerbweight to boost efficiency.
