Porsche has officially revealed the Porsche Panamera Diesel including some impressive stats: 37.3mpg and 745 miles range!
The four-door sedan comes packing a Porsche-tuned version of Volkswagen’s 3.0-liter turbodiesel that cranks out 247 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic with stop-start capability, the Panamera Diesel hits 62 miles per hour in 6.8 seconds.
On the fuel economy front, the oil-burning Panamera consumes 6.3 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers (approximately 37.3 miles per gallon U.S.) and emits 167 g/km of CO2 when equipped with low-rolling resistance tires. With standard rubber, fuel consumption is listed at 6.5 l/100 km (36.2 mpg U.S.) and emissions rise to 172 g/km CO2. Porsche emphasizes that the Panamera Diesel has a range of more than 745 miles.
