Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser as well as specs for the new Mercedes-Benz B-Class. Have a look!
Dubbed a “quantum leap in the compact class,” the redesigned model measures 4359mm long, 1786mm wide and 1557mm tall. It has an impressive 0.26 drag coefficient thanks to “numerous optimization measures” that are a result of 1,100 hours of wind tunnel testing. Additionally, there will be an ECO Technology package – with a reduce ride height, underbody cladding and improved window seals – that lowers the drag coefficient to 0.24. If that hasn’t sparked your interest, there will also be a sports package which has modified dampers, a ‘Direct-Steer’ system and a 20mm reduced ride height.
In the tech department, the 2012 B-Class offers Adaptive Headlamp Assist, Blind Spot Assist / Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Active Parking Assist, Linguatronic, DISTRONIC PLUS, PRE-SAFE and COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST with adaptive Brake Assist.
