Porsche has confirmed to be working on 4 new models until 2018.
Speaking with Automotive News Europe, Mueller said the company won’t decide on whether to build a new sports car to slot between the 911 and 918 Spyder until the end of next year. If the car is green-lighted, it will likely ride on the MMB platform that will also underpin the next-generation Audi R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo.
When asked an entry-level sedan, codenamed the Pajun (Panamera Junior), Mueller said it’s a “possibility” but didn’t give a time frame on when it could be approved for production.
While there’s still some doubt about the aforementioned vehicles, Mueller confirmed there will be new Panamera derivatives. Choices could include a coupe and a wagon like the Panamera Sport Turismo concept.
