Now, Volkswagen is showing the Golf plug-in hybrid which uses the same powertrain as the recently announced Audi A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid. This combines a 150 HP (110 kW) 1.4-liter TFSI engine with a 102 HP (75 kW) electric motor and a dual-clutch e-S tronic 6-speed gearbox. The setup enables the vehicle to have a combined output of 204 HP (150 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm).
